Multiple Golden Gloves champion Freddy Frye, a San Diego native, first opened Boxing Fit in 2015 in Cross Lanes WV, but needing more space, he moved into a larger facility in Nitro WV.
He started out in a room that was 20 x 20 ft. running 135 to 150 members out of that small space. We have sold our first franchise and it is located in Hurricane WV. We have now opened our second location in Charleston WV.

We concentrate on a cardio-type boxing circuit where you will engage in a variety of exercises that result in excellent cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. The workouts are high-calorie burning and you can blast up to 1,000 calories in just under an hour!
A typical boxing circuit includes combinations on the mitts, jumping rope, heavy bag, speed bag, and a combination of calisthenics and strength training. It is a circuit-style workout.
Although Boxing Fit incorporates the skills and workouts common to boxers, there is no sparring involved. Instead “hand mitts” are used and the clients will do various punch combinations called out by the trainer. This is great for improving hand-eye coordination, footwork, and reflexes.
